GSI Technology, Inc. Updates Comments on Suit by Cypress Semiconductor
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Apr 06, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- GSI Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIT) today supplemented its earlier announcement regarding a lawsuit that has been filed by Cypress Semiconductor against GSI in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. As previously announced, Cypress' complaint, filed on March 30, 2011, alleges five counts of patent infringement, principally related to GSI's SigmaQuad(TM) and SigmaDDR(TM) products. GSI has not yet been formally served in this matter. GSI has conducted a preliminary review of Cypress' claims and the patents alleged to be infringed. Based on this preliminary review, GSI believes that it has strong defenses to the claims. GSI intends to defend the lawsuit vigorously.
